VANISHING ACT and BLACK PAPER played last weekend at the Made-in-Michigan Film Festival in Frankenmuth, Michigan. It was the festival premiere of BLACK PAPER (the film opened the festival), and both movies received an enthusiastic response from the audience.
At the end of the festival, VANISHING ACT took home two awards. The first was for Best Cinematography (Noah Sampsel), and the second was for Best Lead Actress (Charly Bivona). It was a fun festival, and I'm looking forward to returning next year, hopefully with TWENTY YEARS LATER.
