He is very excited to be part of the ALONE IN THE UNIVERSE team as both a co-producer and an actor.

Alexie Schneider - line producer
Alexie Schneider is currently a student at Compass College of Cinematic Arts. She has had a love for film from an early age. As a child she used to make home videos with her friends. In her time at Compass, she has produced three short films, including one of the Capstone Films: Daisy Chain. She is interested in producing more films in the future and previously worked as the assistant to the producer on TWENTY YEARS LATER.
Outside of filmmaking, Alexie enjoys spending time with her friends and family, drawing, and photography.

Anthony E. Griffin - director of photography
Anthony E. Griffin returns as cinematographer after a wonderful collaboration on Joshua Courtade's first feature film BLACK PAPER.
Griffin has shot and produced fifteen feature length projects over the past decade in Michigan. His work has been distributed around the world, and his most recent short film, Carry That Weight, which he also wrote and directed, won third place at the Capital City Fortnight Film Contest in April, 2014.
Griffin is also the festival director and co-founder of Thriller! Chiller!, Michigan's international film festival celebrating genre movies.

Phil Worfel - first assistant director
Phil Worfel is a graduate of Compass College of Cinematic Arts -- where he currently teaches film history and aesthetics -- and earlier studied education at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. Among Phil's credits, he has worked on feature films, written and directed commercials for The Holland Museum and Golden Corral, and developed promotional media for Quixtar, Kids Hope USA, AimWest, and Campus Crusade. He also works as a professional photographer on film sets and for media events. He has previously served as the assistant director on films such as MUGS, HANK DANGER AND THE WOMAN FROM VENUS!, and TWENTY YEARS LATER.
Phil is an incurable, inveterate, and unapologetic film snob who will pontificate and argue for hours on the virtues of Sidney Lumet, the obscenities of Michael Bay, and why The Jazz Singer must be simultaneously revered and reviled. He watched Tron: Legacy seven times in IMAX 3D despite its many flaws, drove four hours to watch Blade Runner on the big screen, and counts seeing Lawrence of Arabia at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood among the great moments of his life.
